Who are we – How can we help you

DK Kaartdijin is a Supply Nation Certified business operating as a Contract Facilitator with a large co-operative of both Indigenous and non-Indigenous business that subcontract their services to us.

Clients come to us when they want to engage with Aboriginal business and have two main goals:

  • To meet mandatory spending requirements as outlined in the Indigenous Procurement Policy (IPP)

and

  • To ensure mandatory engagement of Aboriginal man-hours are achieved on a per-project basis

These requirements can be challenging for them when dealing directly with Aboriginal businesses. In most cases these providers have a lack of administration compliance with, for example, HSEQ, OSH, building codes, industrial relations, insurances, both state and federal taxes, licensing etc.

The Aboriginal businesses do not have the ability to tick all the appropriate boxes when engaging with larger infrastructure companies. They don’t have the back-office expertise, resources and qualifications.

This is where we come in. By subcontracting their services through DK, all these requirements are catered for via our team of experts and resources, making sure everything is in place according to regulations.

We pride ourselves on offering the best solutions to industry while maximising local and indigenous participation. In order to fully support our clients, and meet their needs we have broken DK Kaartdijin into 3 separate entities. Whilst still operating under the one DK banner these separate entities are:

  • DK Labour Services (DKLS)
  • DK Projects Management (DKPM)
  • DK Plant Hire (DKPH)
